Abstract:
To prevent refrigerant from being mixed into an object to be cooled through a broken part such as a hole or crack that could be made on a plate of a plate heat exchanger.
In abnormal circumstances of a cooling system and the like, refrigerant is evacuated from a plate heat exchanger 10 by opening a valve V3 so that pressure in the refrigerant space of the plate heat exchanger 10 is kept lower than that in the space of an object to be cooled. Also, at the time of the power failure, pressure in the space of the refrigerant of the plate heat exchanger 10 is kept lower than that in the space of the object to be cooled by opening the valve V3 to which electric power is not supplied.
