Abstract:
To suppress excessive temperature rise of an engine and a motor when abnormality of control signal for controlling drive of a cooling fan used for cooling of the engine, the motor or the like occurs.
This system determines whether abnormality exists in data input for controlling drive of the cooling fan (step S100, S110). If existence of abnormality is determined, drive level F* of the cooling fan is established to High (Hi) (step S130), and a fan motor is controlled to drive the cooling fan at established drive level F* (step S140). Consequently, the engine and the motor are prevented from reaching high temperature even if abnormality occurs in input data.
