To provide a technology for cooling the air sucked by an outdoor unit with which degradation of a heat exchanger of an outdoor unit is prevented, and wasteful use of water and power is reduced.
A cooling system for cooling the air sucked by an outdoor unit of an air cooling package by evaporative latent heat of water includes: a nozzle for spraying mist water to the air sucked by an outdoor unit; an air temperature sensor for detecting temperatures of the air sucked by an outdoor unit; a wet-bulb temperature sensor disposed apart from the outdoor unit and the nozzle by a predetermined distance; and for detecting a wet-bulb temperature of the external air; and a control device for calculating temperature difference between the temperature of the air sucked by the outdoor unit detected by the air temperature sensor and the wet-bulb temperature of the external air detected by the wet-bulb temperature sensor, and controlling the amount of water sprayed from the nozzle based on the calculated temperature difference.
