Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable cooling capacity regardless of the advancing direction of a vehicle by arranging a cooling fan in a cooling duct, and changing the rotational direction of the cooling fan according to the advancing direction of the vehicle.
SOLUTION: When a vehicle advances in the arrow upward direction, an opening part 14 becomes an intake port, and sucks in outside air, and after heat is exchanged with a radiator element 11, a cooling fan 12 is rotated (a) so that air is exhausted from the other opening part 15 opening backward in the advancing direction of the vehicle. When the advancing direction of the vehicle becomes the opposite (arrow downward) direction, an electric motor is oppositely controlled by interlocking with a reverser, and the cooling fan 12 is reversely rotated, and outside air is sucked in from the opening part 15 positioned forward in the advancing direction of the vehicle, and when air is exhausted from the opening part 14 positioned in the rear, heat is exchanged (b) with the radiator element 11. Therefore, since hot exhaust air is always exhausted from the rear of the intake port regardless of the advancing direction, the deterioration of cooling capacity by re-suction of the hot exhaust air can be prevented.
