Abstract:
To improve the cooling performance of a stator.SOLUTION: A cooling system has a motor generator. The motor generator has a stator. The stator has a stator core and a plurality of segment coils. The stator core has an annular core body with a central axis. The central axis is perpendicular to the vertical axis of a vehicle. The segment coils have a coil end 22 projecting outward from the first end of the stator core in the direction along the central axis. A straight line perpendicular to both the central axis and the vertical axis is a virtual straight line when viewed along the central axis. The upper side of the coil end 22, which is bisected by the virtual straight line, is a first portion 22A. A portion of the segment coils that constitutes the first portion 22A has an outer peripheral surface P1 facing in a direction opposite to the central axis when viewed from the portion. The outer peripheral surface P1 has a twisted surface that faces the stator core side as it approaches the first end of the stator core.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
