To provide a cooling system having further reduced power consumption by efficiently utilizing an assisting device.
Heat absorbed during assisting the refrigerating operation of a refrigerator 4 by an electronic refrigerator 20 serving as the assisting device is given as operating heat energy to the refrigerator 4. Thus, compared with conventional one, where the operating heat energy is only given to the refrigerator 4 by the assisting device such as a vapor compression refrigerator or a heater or a second heating element 3 is cooled by refrigerating capability generated by the vapor compression refrigerator, the cooling system has further reduced power consumption because of the efficient utilization of the electronic refrigerator 20 as the assisting device.
