Abstract:
To provide a cooling system for achieving a smaller size and a longer life.SOLUTION: A cooling system for cooling a fuel cell 1 by circulating cooling water includes: a cooling water circuit 2 for circulating the cooling water; and a cooling water pump 3 for forcibly feeding the cooling water. The cooling water pump 3 has an electric motor 30, a first pump 31 connected to one end side of a rotary shaft 301 of the electric motor 30, and a second pump 32 connected to the other end side of the rotary shaft 301 of the electric motor 30. Each of the first pump 31 and the second pump 32 is a centrifugal pump for allowing the cooling water sucked from a rotary shaft direction to flow out in a radial direction. The first pump 31 and the second pump 32 are equal in discharge capacity at the time of the same rotating speed because a first impeller 311 of the first pump 31 and a second impeller 321 of the second pump 32 have the same shape or symmetrical shapes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
