Abstract:
To save energy.SOLUTION: A cooler 1 includes: a cooling tower 14 that cools cooling water W1 to be supplied to a heat source machine 12 by using a cooling fan 34; and a control section 104 for controlling rotating speed of the cooling fan in accordance with an operating state of the heat source machine and thus controlling a temperature of the cooling water. The heat source machine cools a heating medium (cooling water W2) to be supplied to a heat load device 26 by using waste heat supplied at least from a waste heat supply source. The control section sets the temperature of the cooling water to a first target temperature on the basis of a wet-bulb temperature when the operating state of the heat source machine is a heat source machine efficiency priority state, and sets the temperature of the cooling water to a second target temperature higher than the first target temperature when the operating state of the heat source machine is an energy saving priority state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
