PURPOSE: To provide a cooling tower facility in which energy conservation of an air conditioning facility of a superhigh-rise building is provided by employing a natural ventilation type of strong wind passed between ridges and a forcible ventilation type of a blower by installing a cooling tower at a high position of the building having four ridges.
CONSTITUTION: Cooling towers 1 are installed at centers of respective sky plazas D installed at respective 27 stairs of a superhigh-rise building A in which independent four ridges B form flat cross-shaped spaces. The tower 1 is formed in a flat cross-shaped box shape. Four louvers are mounted toward outsides of the space of the building A. A plurality of fillers in which many vent holes are opened are so disposed inside the louvers as to form air gaps thereamong. A blower has a wind speed detector, a controller and an ON/OFF switch, and is operated or stopped according to strength of wind passed between the ridges B.
