Title:
HUMAN TRACKING SPOT AIR CONDITIONER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3185318
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To give comfortable feeling of air conditioning to users by directing an air outlet port to the users when they are present in a detection range of sensors and making the air outlet port turn in oscillating motion at an angle corresponding to a distance to the users and an ambient temperature.
CONSTITUTION: Ultrasonic wave sensors 10, 11 are turned by the control of an outlet port turning motor 6 to form a detection range and, when users are present in this range, a microcomputer 12 controls the outlet port turning motor 6 to direct an air outlet port to the users. Further, when the users are detected, the air outlet port is repeatedly reciprocated with the users as a center at an oscillating angle corresponding to a distance to the users and an ambient temperature. Accordingly, the air outlet port is turned at an oscillating angle always centering around a human body to give comfortable feeling to the users, thus comfortable air conditioning is carried out.
