Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the construction cost of a cooling tower and to downsize it.
SOLUTION: In a cooling tower of which spray nozzles 6 being opened to the lower surface of a hot water tank 5 spray hot water 7 on fillers 12 direct under the hot water tank 5 and the dripping hot water on the surface of the filler 12 is cooled by contacting outside air 8 directly, the fillers 12 are classified to a normally wet region 17 and a wet and dry switching region 18 separating the flowing space 16 of the outer air 8, the spray nozzles 6 being connected to the wet and dry switching region 18 are partitioned by partition boards 23 inside the hot water tank 5 and the hot water 7 is distributed adequately to the partitioned regions 24 being partitioned by the partition boards 23.
