Abstract:
To provide a cooling unit capable of preventing drop of not only large particles but also fine particles.
This cooling unit 1 is included in a cooler apparatus for conveying and simultaneously cooling high-temperature particulate cement clinker. The cooling unit 1 has a casing 21 having a bottom plate 21a. In the casing 21, cement clinker having a lower temperature than the cement clinker under conveyance is deposited, and a dead layer 27 is formed by the deposited cement clinker. The cement clinker is loaded on the dead layer 27, and an air diffusing pipe 25 is buried in the dead layer 27. The air diffusing pipe 25 discharges cooling air into the dead layer.
