Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily exchange engine cooling water by arranging detachable means mounted on a filler port of a radiator, and switchably connecting a positive pressure line for energizing positive pressure and a negative pressure line for generating negative pressure thereto.
SOLUTION: In order to remove cooling water such as LLC inside an engine cooling water passage 1, a plug 12 is attached to a filler port 2 of a radiator 6 in a water-tight condition. Changeover parts 17, 24 are switched to a position as indicated by the drawing. An air compressor 14 and an engine are driven. Negative pressure generated in an ejector 23 is applied to the cooling water passage 1 through passages 23a, 25, c, d, 13, 12. A boiling point of the cooling water is thus lowered. The cooling water is boiled with a comparatively low temperature and is pressurized by generated bubbles. Total cooling water and bubbles inside the engine cooling water passage 1 are suctioned in such a state and discharged from an outflow port 27 of the ejector 23. Removal and discharge are performed in an extremely short time.
