Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling water supply installation capable of constantly supplying a required amount of water to each of foamed synthetic resin molding machines under the same pressure, in a molding mill equipped with a plurality of the foamed synthetic resin molding machines and the like.
SOLUTION: The cooling waster supply installation is of such a structure that it has a water pump F whose drive and stoppage can be controlled by an operating control part K of each of a plurality of the molding machines, installed in each of cooling water supply pipes D of each of the molding machines A. In addition, the water pump F is controlled so that it can be driven simultaneously with or right before the start of a water cooling step of each of the molding machines A. Further, a water feed pump B capable of supplying the total consumption of a cooling water to be used by all the molding machines A, a water tank C for storing water supplied by the water feed pump B and main piping E arranged so as to supply water to the cooling water supply pipes D of the molding machines A are provided. Thus it is possible to constitute the installation so that the water level of the water tank C is always above inlet and outlet piping of the water pump F.
