Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily make setting adjustment such that a touch determination performance of a device can fall within a predetermined performance.SOLUTION: A coordinate input device for detecting direct reflection light of light and detecting a position of an indication tool, comprises: first light-emitting means for emitting infrared light parallel to an image display surface and in a fan shape; second light emitting means for emitting infrared emission light from the indication tool in order to notify a user of a display surface position of the image display surface; light-receiving means for simultaneously detecting data on reflection light of the infrared light being reflected by the indicator tool and data on the infrared emission light emitted from the indication tool for notifying the user of the display surface position of the indicator tool; processing means for processing the data on the reflection light reflected by the indicator tool and the data on the infrared emission light emitted from the indicator tool, which are simultaneously detected by the light-receiving means; and indication means for issuing an indication to adjust the infrared light emitted from the first light-emitting means on the basis of data processing performed by the processing means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
