Title:
COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3109887
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the coordinate input device provided with a wireless vibrating pen having high operability or the coordinate input device which can easily transmit the operational information of a switch to a main body at low cost even when providing this switch or the like at the vibrating pen.
CONSTITUTION: A vibrating pen 3 is provided with built-in vibrator 4, driving circuit 2 and power source 25 and constituted wireless from the main body part. Concerning driving timing to input vibrations from the vibrating pen 3 to a vibration transmitting board 8 provided with a vibration sensor 6, the vibrations are transmitted to an arithmetic control circuit 1 of the main body by inputting the vibrations from the vibrating pen 3 at a prescribed position such as at the position of a pen holder 81, for example. When providing the switch or the like at the vibrating pen 3, the vibrations are inputted from the vibrating pen 3 to the vibration transmitting board 8 so as to distinguish it from the vibration input for coordinate detection.
