Title:
COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04135224
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the variance of the pressing force and at the same time to secure the insulation properties between the double sided resistors by exposing and developing a photosensitive resin film having the even thickness in order to form a dot-shaped spacer and also applying the metallic plating to the double sided resistors.

CONSTITUTION: A dot-shaped spacer 15 is formed by exposing a photosensitive film 16 having the even thickness and attached on the electrode sheets 8A and 8B together with a dot forming mask 17 applied on the film 16. Meanwhile the double sided resistors 4A and 4B are obtained by applying the metallic plating to the non-forming parts of the dot-shaped spacers 15 of the sheets 8A and 8B. Thus the spacers 15 have the uniform height and the counter faces of the spacers 15 are smoothed. As a result, the variance of the pressing force is reduced over an entire input range. Furthermore the input of coordinates is attained with the small pressing force and at the same time the satisfactory insulation properties can be secured between both resistors 4A and 4B for a coordinate input device.
