Title:
COORDINATE INPUT DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH04137121
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a coordinate input device where coordinates are not inputted with only a touch of a palm or the like and whose variance of pressing force is small by arranging dotlike spacers at 45° to an Ag electrode line.

CONSTITUTION: Though dotlike spacers 15 are put on an Ag electrode 20, a maximum displacement point A exists on the Ag electrode 20. Though the height of dotlike spacers 15 on the Ag electrode 20 is made higher by that of the Ag electrode 20, a maximum pressing force Fmaxa at the maximum displacement point A is reduced. Since dotlike spacers 15 are arranged at 45° to the line of the Ag electrode 20, a maximum pressing force is stronger than conventional one, and the maximum pressing force is weaker than conventional one. Consequently, coordinate input due to only a touch of a palm or a finger is prevented, and the coordinate input device of less variance in pressing force is obtained.
