Abstract:

To provide copper alloy powder for brazing which has excellent oxidation resistance by subjecting powder as-produced by an atomizing method from a copper alloy material for brazing to heat treatment, thereafter transforming a metastable phase easy to be oxidized into a stable phase which is not influenced by oxidation, and to provide a production method therefor.

In the powder X-ray spectrum measured by using Cu-Kα rays of Cu based alloy powder containing Cu, Sn, P and Ni, the intensity ratio of the peak appearing in 44.5 to 45.0, 45.5 to 46.0 or 49.0 to 50.0 deg/2θ to the first peak appearing in 42.0 to 43.0 deg/2θ of the Cu alloy containing one or more metals selected from Cu, Sn, P and Ni is ≥18.
