Title:
COPPER WIRE CUTTING DEVICE FOR DISMANTLING MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000326139
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a copper wire cutting device for surely cutting a looped copper wire projecting from the end face of a stator collected from a waste motor.

A stator 1 is formed in a cylindrical shape with a looped copper wire 2 projecting from the end face. A supporting roller 3 supports the stator 1 in the state of passing through the inner periphery of the stator 1. The shaft of the supporting roller 3 is connected to a rotation driving mechanism. Clamp rollers 4, 5 have rotating shafts parallel to the supporting roller 3 and contact the outer periphery of the stator 1. The stator 1 is clamped at its inner and outer peripheries between the supporting roller 3 and each of the clamp rollers 4, 5. A cutter 7 is rotated in a plane opposed to the end face of the stator 1 via a small gap and moved from the outside of the stator 1 in its radial direction toward a contact line between the inner periphery of the stator 1 and the supporting roller 3. The copper wire 2 is thus cut in the state that the stator 1 is supported at the rear part of a portion to be cut of the copper wire 2 by the supporting roller 3.
