PURPOSE: To make the temperature distribution or a photosensitive drum uniform and to prevent change in sensitivity by holding a convection inhibiting plate in the photosensitive drum so that an air discharge port may be always positioned on the lower part irrespective of the rotation of the photosensitive drum.
CONSTITUTION: The photosensitive drum 1 is formed to a hollow cylindrical shape, the front end part of the photosensitive drum is supported by a fixing device 1c through a bearing 1a, and the fixing device 1c is fixed on the front end of a rotary shaft 2. The rear end of the photosensitive drum is fixed on a driving gear 1d and the driving gear 1d is supported by the rotary shaft 2 through a bearing 1b. As to the aforesaid copying device, the air heated by a heater 3 is prevented from directly striking the photosensitive drum 1 by use of the convection inhibiting plate. And also, the air striking the convection inhibiting plate is moved downward along the inside surface of the convection inhibiting plate, and discharged through the air discharge port 4a of the convection inhibiting plate 4, and then, the air circulates between the inner peripheral surface of the photosensitive drum and the convection inhibiting plate, so that the temperature distribution of the photosensitive drum is made uniform.
