PURPOSE: To miniaturize a machine, to lighten its weight, to reduce power consumption, to eliminate adverse influence by heat and to obtain plural sheets from one original by working one time by transporting a ink donor sheet having magnetic ink as an ink component together with a blank form overlapped with the former sheet and by performing heat copying recording by a thermal head.
CONSTITUTION: A picture signal reproducing/processing circuit 89 supplies a thermal head drive signal 93 based on a print signal to a thermal head 27. A certain amount of ink donor sheets 23 is transported, and passes through a thermal resistance of the thermal head 27 approprimately so that the top of a blank form overlapped with said sheet 23 can obtain the specific space. Then the blank form passes through the thermal head 27 and a back roller 28 in the condition in which it is overlapped with the ink donor sheet 23, and at this time the thermal head 27 is driven and heat copying recording of picture information is carried out. This means that the heat resistance of the thermal head 27 selectively heats, the ink is selectively fluidized by heating the ink donor sheet 23, and the fluidized ink is transferred to a blank sheet, thereby forming a picture.
