Title:
COPYING MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61270770
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the setting space of keys and to omit the setting of the number of copies and copy starting operation by forming a means for increasing the number of copies in accordance with the depression continuing time of a copying number setting key which is detected by a detecting means and starting the copying operation at the end of key depression.

CONSTITUTION: Input signals from various sensors or input signals from a print key 101 are inputted to a CPU. The CPU sets up a timer to be a reference for the measurement of time for keeping the key 101 at ON status. When the number of copies is set up to '1' and a copy number clear flag is '0', the current set number of copies is increased. The set number of copies is increased at every end of the time. When the required number of copies is obtained, the key 101 is turned off, so that the copy flag is turned to '1' to start copying operation. If the key 101 is turned on during the copying operation, a stop flag is turned to '1' to stop the copying operation.
