Abstract:
PURPOSE:To attain efficient copying by copying each unit information other than deleted information according to management information only when duplicated registration does not exist and the deleted information not required for copying exists and copying all the document information and the management information in other cases. CONSTITUTION:When the duplicated registration exists, all the information of an original disk is reproduced and recorded on a copy disk. On the other hand, in case of the absence of duplicated registration, whether or not the deleted registration exists is checked by an area 200 of the original disk. As a result, when no deleted registration exists, the information is processed by simple copying method with high speed procedure, and when deleted registration exists a pointer of a document number is set to the head, the document represented by the pointer is read by the management information and it is confirmed that the processing is not executed to the end. When the document represented by the pointer is not subject to deleted registration, the picture information of the document is read according to the head and end address of the management information, transferred onto the copy disk to generate the management information and stored in a copy disk. On the other hand, when not deleted, the document number pointer is increased. Then the document not subject to deleted registration is copied.
