A data input device 11 for reading the original of the plural pages from the last page in a descending order, a data output device 23 for printing and outputting it with a printing surface up and a data storage device 12 are communicably connected. Whether or not a copying mode specified by the user is a mode depending on the page order from the head of the original is judged, and in the case of depending on it, read image data are successively stored in the storage device 12 and the image data are read from the storage device 12 and printed after the read of the original is completed.
