CORD CONNECTING STRUCTURE BETWEEN BALLAST CIRCUIT AND LIGHTING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: To prevent connector being applied high voltage dangerous to general users from being connected or disconnected by fitting a protector around the connecting section of the connector for preventing a disconnecting operation therefor.
CONSTITUTION: The output cord 62 of a ballast circuit unit is connected to a connector connecting section 70 in the case 51 of a lighting circuit unit via a connector 63 in such a way as allowing a connecting and disconnecting operation for the connector 63. In addition, a protector 80 is provided around the section 70 for preventing the disconnecting operation. This protector 80 is screwed to the case 51 via a counter bored screw hole drilled through the flange section 81 thereof. In this case, the head of a screw is concealed with a blank seal 84 pasted to the flange section 81. According to this construction, general users cannot easily detach the protector 80, while specific users familiar with a structure can peel the seal 84 and pull out the connector 63, together with the protector 80, following the reverse procedures of assembly.
