To provide a cord layer device using a simple device and method for forming a reinforcing cord layer in a bias structure for an air spring having the highly uniform reinforcing cord layer without causing cutting loss, and to provide an air spring manufacturing method using the same.
The cord layering device comprises an outer periphery roller 13 arranged in an approximately C-shape on the outer periphery of a cylindrical mold for supporting a belt topping cord 43 and an endless belt 32 and a cutter supported on the inner periphery roller 17 and an adhesion roller 21, respectively. The adhesion roller 21 is moved in and out between a forward position where the endless belt 32 abuts on the cylindrical mold and a rearward position. Its angle-changeable rotating shaft has an adhering angle at the forward position when adhering at least two layers to each other to form the reinforcing cord layer 46 in the bias structure in such a manner that the cut belt cord 43 has a preset cord angle to the outer peripheral face of the cylindrical mold.
