To provide a cord storage device capable of automatically pulling out an electric cord, while preventing the occurrence of the situation of being unable to pull out the electric cord.

This cord storage device 2 includes a drum 30 for winding a first electric cord 4, a plurality of rollers 70 arranged in a position opposed to an outer peripheral surface of the drum 30, a motor 50 for rotating the drum 30, and gears 36 and 74 for transmitting rotation of the motor 50 to the rollers 70. A rotary shaft 72 of the roller 70 is provided in parallel to a rotary shaft 34 of the drum 30. The motor 50 normally rotates the drum 30 when the first electric cord 4 is pulled out of the drum 30, and reversely rotates the drum 30 when the first electric cord 4 is wound on the drum 30. The rotation of the motor 50 is transmitted to the rollers 70 via the gears 36 and 74. The rollers 70 rotate in the inverse direction of the drum 30.
