A cord switch 10 has a filamentous inner electrode 1 arranged on a central axis; an elastic insulation spacer 3 arranged on an outer periphery of the inner electrode 1 and forming a gap 6 for exposing a predetermined face of the inner electrode 1 (hereinafter, referred to as an exposed face 19); a filamentous outer electrode 2 arranged in the gap 6 and arranged at a predetermined distance opposite to the exposed face 6, on which the inner electrode 1 is exposed; and a deformable envelope 31 having an insulation property and integrally covering the inner electrode 1, the outer electrode 2, and the elastic insulation spacer 3.
