Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a cord for tire capable of increasing durability of tire by raising permeability of rubber and preventing falling off of core and to improve driving comfortableness and steering stability by taking advantage of directivity caused by forming a rectangular cross section.
CONSTITUTION: This cord for tire comprises a core 3 composed of filaments 2 made of three steels and a sheath using plural sheath filaments surrounding the core. The core is composed of the braided three filaments.
