Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a cordless iron having two terminals for use and having a temperature setting part provided on a stand with satisfactory convenience for use.
CONSTITUTION: A switch 9 for controlling the temperature of a base surface is mounted on a stand 16 having spatial allowance. A transmitter part 20 mounted on an iron body 15 transmits a signal showing the temperature of the base and a signal showing the presence of power supply as infrared ray signal to a receiver part 22 mounted on the stand 16. The stand 16 controls the switch 9 to control the base temperature while controlling the switch 9 to be opened when the signal of the power supply continues the state having no change for a predetermined time, than the electrification to terminals 21a, 21b is stopped, in this cordless iron.
