Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless telephone system capable of using, as a cordless telephone slave unit, the radio IP terminal which has a wireless LAN communication function to connect to the Internet from the inside/outside of the house, and capable of allowing a cordless telephone slave unit which has no wireless LAN communication function to be compatible with the radio IP terminal inside the home to relay the radio IP terminal and a radio access point therebetween within the home where the radio waves do not arrive from the radio access point.SOLUTION: A cordless telephone master unit 10 returns a piece of address information of the cordless telephone master unit 40 to a portable telephone which has made a multicast transmission of a master unit searching message and registers the portable telephone 40 as a slave unit. A radio LAN bridge controller 119 transfers a reception packet according to a destination address of the received packet.
