PURPOSE: To surely listen to a telephone bell liable to be overheard when a radio program is listened to by integrating a radio receiver to a handset of a cordless telephone set and incorporating a switch interrupting a radio audio output automatically when the telephone handset is busy.

CONSTITUTION: A conventional radio receiver is integrated in a handset and the both are used switchingly properly by using a speech switch (hook switch) 2 and a radio receiver/telephone set changeover switch 3 in the handset. When a telephone bell signal enters from a trunk line, a bell signal radiates from a base unit placed in parallel with a trunk line telephone set receiving the bell signal as a radio wave, and the radiating radio wave is received by an antenna A to throw the radio receiver/telephone set changeover switch 3 to the position of a contact 8 automatically. Then the radio receiver output is not heard by an earphone 4 and a telephone bell is heard via a telephone bell circuit 12. Thus, even when a radio program is enjoyed, the telephone bell is heard.
