To enhance the utilizing efficiency of a master set and to extend a range of location of a slave set to outdoor by providing a means selecting communication and an outdoor repeater.
An outer conductor 77 and its skirt 78 of an outdoor repeater 36 have a water-proof structure. A call signal from a slave set A37 is received by an antenna 6 of the outdoor repeater 36, amplified and detected by a receiver A7. An ID number and a destination number in a call signal are decoded by a control circuit A11 and sent to a control circuit B17 via a line changeover circuit 38. A dialing from the line changeover circuit 38 to a telephone line 39 is allowed by the control circuit B17 when the ID number received from the slave set A37 indicates a specific registration number for external dialing and the dialing to an external device is made. In the case of a usual registration number, the line changeover circuit 38 and a handset 40 are connected to make a call to a master set 35.
