Abstract:
To provide a core pin adapted to enhance releasability while suppressing the increase of padding of a casting.SOLUTION: A core pin 11 is to be assembled in a foundry metal mold 100. The core pin 11 comprises an outward portion 11aa facing outward of a casting C1 in a contracting direction X of the casting C1 and an inward portion 11ab facing inward of the casting C1 in the contracting direction X of the casting C1. The outward portion 11aa has a draft α1a greater than a draft α1b of the inward portion 11ab, to enhance releasability while suppressing the increase of padding of the casting C1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
