PURPOSE: To enable a core to be automatically replaced by a method in which a core-stocker and a core-replacing arm are provided in a molding machine, and their operations are controlled by the NC-device provided in the molding machine.
CONSTITUTION: A core-replacing mechanism 2 is constructed at the side of a stationary platen 3 and is provided with a core-stocker 6 and a core-replacing arm 7. The core-stocker 6 receivers a plurality of cores 9 which are combined, as a pair, with stationary side and movable side, and is arranged at the receiving and delivering position of the optional core. The core-replacing arm 7 transfers the core in the receiving and delivering position of the core-stocker 6 to the core-fitting position of the matrix 8, or conversly transfers the core in the core-fitting position of the matrix 8 to the core-receiving and delivering position of the core-stocker 6. NC-device reciprocates the core-replacing arm 7 coincidentally with the molding timing of a molding machine.
