PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core sampling apparatus which is constructed such that fluid flowing through a fluid passage is discharged to an area other than a coring area before core enters an inner pipe.
SOLUTION: The core sampling apparatus is constructed in the following manner. First, the inner pipe 6 is arranged inside an outer pipe 3 via the fluid passage 7, and the inner pipe 6 is held in an irrotational manner with respect to rotation of the outer pipe. Then, at the tip of the inner pipe, a core lifter case 14 is disengageably fitted onto a pipe 15 on an upper stage-side, and an auxiliary exit 10 of the fluid passage is formed between the core lifter case and an inner stage portion 11 of a bit, followed by forming a main exit 9 of the fluid passage in a leading edge surface or a peripheral surface of the bit. According to the coring apparatus thus constructed, an elastic member 13 is interposed between the core lifter case and the pipe on the upper stage-side, and therefore the elastic member presses the core lifter case to the inner stage portion to block the auxiliary exit, before the core is taken into the inner pipe. On the other hand, when the core has entered the inner pipe to lift up the core lifter case, the elastic member shrinks to open the auxiliary exit.
