Title:
CORE-SHEATH TYPE CONJUGATE FIBER HAVING FRICTION MELTING RESISTANCE AND ITS WOVEN AND KNITTED FABRIC
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3452291
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a core-sheath type conjugate fiber having friction melting resistance, excellent in passage of false twisting, capable of providing woven and knitted fabric with handle of soft and volume feeling and woven and knitted fabric capable of developing the friction melting resistance.
SOLUTION: This core-sheath type conjugate fiber having friction melting resistance is obtained by arranging a thermoplastic polymer having ≥200°C melting point on a sheath part and a polypropylene having ≥130°C deflection temperature under load. Woven and knitted fabrics substantially not causing a melt mark by contact pressure under 6kg load for 3 seconds by a rotor type friction melt test are obtained by using the core-sheath type conjugate yarn.
