To provide a core wire feeder capable of easily carrying a core wire bobbin to a core wire feeding position and smoothly feeding the core wire without any disconnection even in the core wire bobbin whose core wire is inferiorly wound and dropped off.

The core wire bobbin 6 is installed in a pipe 16 and the core wire bobbin 6 is carried to the core wire feeding position by a carriage 18 with its laid in a lateral attitude. A slider 17 is vertically moved, the center of the core wire bobbin 6 is fitted to a wire guide 11 of a cylindrical guide 12, and the carriage 18 is fixed so as not to move. A wire rod W is thus fed through the wire guide 11 along the inside of the cylindrical guide 12.
