Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coreless coil having an axial plane U-shape that can surround one permanent magnet constituting field magnetic flux or magnet yoke, and provide a permanent magnet type rotary machine that is small in size and light in weight and can achieve high output and high efficiency.SOLUTION: An axial plane U-shaped coil is constructed by plural separate coils 2 which are at least dual-partitioned in the peripheral direction and also divided at a mechanical angle of 180° or less. Each separate coil 2 has a magnetic flux interlinkage part 3N corresponding to the N-pole side of a permanent magnet, a magnetic flux interlinking part 3S' corresponding to the S-pole side of the permanent magnet and a crossover part 4 for linking the conductors of the N-pole side magnetic flux interlinking part 3N and the S-pole side magnetic flux interlinking part 3S. The plural separate coils 2 are joined to one another in the peripheral direction to configure the axial plane U-shaped coil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
