Abstract:
To provide a torque converter capable of raising the torque capacity by suppressing decrease in circulating flow rate.
The torque converter 1 is a corelss torque converter including three elements consisting of a pump impeller 2, a turbine runner 4 and a stator 6, and no core is provided in a portion where these impellers are gathered. A pump blade 2b of the pump impeller 2 includes a pump impeller cutout portion 2c formed by cutting corners in the portion where these impeller are gathered, and a turbine blade 4b of the turbine runner 4 includes a turbine blade cutout portion 4c formed by cutting the corners in the portion where these impeller are gathered.
