**CORNER STRUCTURE FOR ELECTRIC DEVICE**

PURPOSE: To obtain the pole structure not producing the concentration of electric (magnetic) field with respect to arbitrary angle α by substituting the angle of α at the corner of the electric (magnetic) pole into the general formula and then obtaining a curve equation which includes the angle from X-axis of the electric (magnetic) field as a parameter.

CONSTITUTION: In the case a pair of opposed electrodes can be regarded as two- dimensional structure substancially or consists of axially symmetric structure, or a magnetic pole includes a concentrated corner, for example if a pair of opposed electrodes consists of a convex pole 1 having an angle α in cross section and a plane plate electrode 2, α is substituted in equation 1 and the integral calculation is carried out to obtain a curve equation including the angle from X-axis of the electric (magnetic) field as a parameter. Then, the concerned corner is formed according to this curve equation. Same procedure as described above can be applied to the case convex pole versus convex pole by the use of equation 1 and the case convex pole versus concave pole by the use of equation 2.
