PURPOSE: To correct the ununiform settlement of pipe by a method in which, a buffer material is placed on a pipe, an air bag is set between the downside of the pipe and the foundation, a pressured fluid is filled into the air bag during the unequal settlement to expand and lift up the pipe, and a filler is injected into the bag and hardened.

CONSTITUTION: A pressure-resistant air bag 3 of reinforced rubber, etc., is set between a pipe seat 2a provided on a foundation 2 and the downside of a pipe 1, and a buffer material 4 of expanded styrol, etc., is placed on the pipe 1. In case ununiform settlement of the pipe 1 occurs, a pressured fluid is filled into the bag 3 to expand it up to a proper position in proportion to the compressive deformation amount δ of the buffer material 4. A filler is injected into the space between the downside of the pipe 1 and the pipe seat 2a of the foundation 2 and hardened. Damage to the pipe 1 by earth pressure can thus be prevented.
