Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately perform the positioning of data head, by controlling the input signal of the position signal forming circuit through the use of the means detecting the missing pulse in the servo information signal. CONSTITUTION:The control gate signal circuit CGG receives the odd gate signal ODG and the even gate signal EVG at the clock terminal of the corresponding master slave J.K-FF, and flows I1 corresponding to the odd signal via the AND gates CG1, CGO and I2 corresponding to the even signal via the AND gates CG2, CGE respectively into the constant current circuit CCPS1/2 and feeds the output of CG1, CG2 to the analog switch circuit AS via the OR circuit. The switch AS is controlled with the speed signal -¦VEL¦, and the discharges I3, I4 from the capacitors C1, C2 are controlled with the constant current circuit CCPS3/4 to block I3, I4 according to the incoming of the input hold signal HCS. Thus, the malfunction of positioning due to missing pulse can be prevented.
