A face part of the engine valve is rotatably supported by a support member by regulating the rotational axis direction, and a neck part 1c of the engine valve 1 is contacted by a first ring body 15 for relatively rotating with a first die 2 and a second ring body 16 for relatively rotating with a second die 5, and the engine valve 1 is corrected by pressing a stem part 1a of the engine valve 1 while rotating by the first die 2 and the opposed second die 5. A rotating speed becomes different by a difference in an outer diameter of both when contacting and rotating between the support member 10 for contacting the face part 1b and the stem part 1a, the first die 2 and the second die 5. A thrust bearing 18 and a thrust bearing 12 absorb this difference in the rotating speed.
