To provide a correction device capable of accurately correcting an error even when the error occurs in a function of a sensor, for example, an acceleration sensor in accordance with a state of a road, for example, in a state in which a positioning radio wave cannot be received.
The correction device includes an acceleration sensor 1 for detecting acceleration applied to a vehicle and generating acceleration data, an acceleration calculating part 2 for calculating acceleration by using the acceleration data, a position detecting part 3 for detecting the current position, an acquiring part 4 for acquiring radius data of the road corresponding to the current position, a gyro sensor 5 for detecting a traveling direction, a change amount calculating part 6 for calculating a change amount of the traveling direction, a correcting speed calculating part 7 for calculating a correcting speed by using the road data and the change amount of the traveling direction, and a correcting part 8 for correcting the speed calculating part 2 by using the correcting speed.
