To provide a correction fluid applying unit and a pattern correcting apparatus in which working efficiency when replacing an application needle can be improved by fully assuring a working space for replacing the application needle with a new one.
Two hinges 32_1, 32_2 connect a drive unit 22 with a rotation motor 31 for indexing in a freely opening and closing manner. A fixing member 33 fixes the drive unit 22 to the rotation motor 31 for indexing in a state where the hinges 32_1, 32_2 are closed. When the hinges 32_1, 32_2 are opened, the application needle 21 and a rotary table 25 are made apart from each other to fully assure the working space when replacing the application needle. Consequently, replacement work of the application needle 21 is facilitated and the working efficiency is improved.
