PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manage user receivers and billing regarding transmission of correction information related to one common virtual reference point.SOLUTION: A control method is for a correction information transmission device that transmits correction information to a receiver that performs relative positioning of its position on the basis of positioning information from satellites and the correction information. The control method includes: an acquisition step of acquiring the correction information related to one virtual reference point; and a transmission unit of transmitting the correction information acquired in the acquisition step to each of a plurality of receivers of a user of which the number is equal to or less than an upper limit number preset by the user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
