Abstract:
To provide a unitary lens structure which is applicable to spectacles, goggles, and safety eyewear.SOLUTION: A lens provided herein is formed as a unitary structure with projections having surfaces, machinable to prescription eyewear, extending from a first side surface of a large shield. Cracking of the shield at the intersections with the projection perimeters is prevented by non linear connections between two surfaces.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
