Abstract:
To provide a corrosion degree estimation device for steel plates capable of precisely quantifying the corrosion degree of a steel plate.SOLUTION: A corrosion degree estimation device 10 includes at least: a quadratic surface approximating unit 11 for approximating the shape of one surface 51 with a quadratic surface CF from 3D point cloud data 51A composed of 3D coordinates measured for one surface 51 of a corroded steel plate 50; a correction unit 12 that assumes that the corroded steel plate 50 has been deformed from the shape of a flat plate to the shape of a quadratic surface CF, and corrects the three-dimensional point cloud data of one surface 51 so that the steel plate 50 has the shape of a flat plate based on the quadratic surface CF; a volume increase calculation unit 13 that calculates the increased volume on one surface 51 of steel plate 50 due to corrosion using three-dimensional point cloud data 51B of the one surface 51 after correction; and a corrosion degree calculator 14 that calculates the degree of corrosion of the one surface 51 of the steel plate 50 from the volume increase.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
